88
An interactive video installation. 88 keys of a re-functionalized piano keyboard correlate to 88 moving images. The work plays with Aristotle's triad of representation, in which image (opsis) is prioritized over melos (music) to create a spontaneous visual text (lexis), composed by the viewer. Playing the white keys triggers each side of the split screen. Playing the black triggers subtitles.
