I am a Cape Town born theatre maker, artist, writer and public arts curator, interested in relationships: between people, places, and the natural environment. I draw, write, and work with participatory practices to explore the world without and within.
As a curator, I co-founded the Borderlands Public Arts Project, that creates artistic encounters between segregated communities in the spaces that lie between them.
I work as a dramaturg and collaborator with several artists in theatre and visual art. I also give workshops and teach.
You can find me in Belgium or South Africa.

RESTLESS INFECTIONS PUBLICATION

Picture

I am proud to have contributed a chapter to Restless Infections, Public Art and a Transforming City, edited by Jay Pather and published by Wits University Press, South Africa.

Becoming Answerable: Face to Face Encounters During Infecting the City Festival, is a discussion of three public performances and their relational significance. Live art as a way of seeing, experiencing and becoming answerable to each other across complex divides.
